Is it possible to use the slap pop techniques on a five or six string bass?

Hi Jason, Yes! It's totally possible and many people do. There are many awesome bassists out there that slap on 4, 5, 6, and even 8-string basses. Some old-school players like 4-string basses because there's more space between the strings, but it really all depends on your preference. Five and six string basses are more than legit, so get slappin'. Best wishes, Jim
